Hi, my name is Leah and with my husband and some of our friends we’ve started a backpack and supply drive for migrant children that have been separated from their parents and are now in Virginia. We are working with Youth for Tomorrow a shelter program in Bristow, Va. The backpacks filled with supplies such as toiletries, school supplies, books, games, toys, stuffed animals, bracelet making kits, sports stuff, etc. will be donated to the shelter program whose focus is reunification. When children leave the shelter to be reunited with family, the shelter likes to give them a backpack full of supplies. Youth for Tomorrow servers around 800 kids a year, so we’d like to give them 800 backpacks! Please help us by either donating a backpack or donating to the go fund me page and our team will buy supplies and a backpack with your donation. The majority of the packs we’ve already made cost between $25-$40. The drive will run from 7/11-8/1Thank you!
