Hi, my name is Jessy and this gofundme is for my 6 year old nephew and his family. Jonas was the victim of a hit and run on June 26th while he was riding his bike. The vehicle that hit him did not slow down, did not stop to check on him and basically left him for dead. He was transported to the local hospital where they assessed his injuries (broken leg, concussion, possible vertebrae fractures) and decided to send him to OSF in Peoria. At this time Jonas is okay but is going to have quite a few follow up appointments, any donation is so greatly appreciated as the family is going to have to miss work and attend these appointments.
