Vance Trimble is only 20 years old, and what started as a youthful mistake has snowballed into something much bigger, and he is being held in ICE detention in Broward and is at risk of being deported from the only home he has known since he was 5 years old. Vance grew up in Naples, Florida. He graduated from Naples High, has his closest friends and family here, and this community is his life. Deportation would tear all of that away. His case stems from minor non-violent charges and an immigration paperwork delay, but now, instead of learning from a mistake, Vance is being treated like a criminal.
There is hope: his immigration lawyer is optimistic, with a strong chance of winning bond so Vance can stay here while his case is reviewed. But the legal fight is expensive, and this is where we need your help. He has already spent 3 weeks in jail transferred 3 times, and now has been sent from Collier to Broward detention center waiting bond hearings. It has already been 6K in lawyers fees and bond could be thousands to prevent deportation. Every donation, every share, and every kind word matters. Your support not only helps cover Vance’s legal costs but also reminds him he isn’t alone in this. Let’s show up for Vance the way he has always shown up for the people he loves.
