Run for HOPE

Donation protected
My name is Tyler Skaflestad and I am a senior at Champlain Valley Union High School. Every year, seniors at CVU have to complete a Graduation Challenge. On Sunday, May 26, 2019, I will be running in the Vermont City Marathon. While the running benefits me personally, I wanted to also benefit my community in the process. I am especially motivated because I am running to raise awareness and money to support Project HOePpnEr. Most importantly, I am running to remember my buddy Paul Hoeppner who took his life in October of 2018. I think about him every single day. I miss his smiling face because it would always brighten up my day.

Project HOePpnEr was created to "increase awareness around the catastrophe that is teen suicide and strives to offer courage for kids to say “I need help” and for their loved ones to hear it."  To learn more about Project HOePpnEr, visit projecthoeppner.com

Any contribution is greatly appreciated!
Thank you very much,

Tyler Skaflestad

P.S. - The Goal was changed from $1,000 to $1,500. I didn't expect to reach my goal as quickly as I did. Thank you for supporting Project HOePpnEr!
