Hey.

My name's Blake Morgan, and many of you know me from my blog and podcast, Blake's Buzz. I'm sure a lot of you who follow me on social media know my dogs as well: Maynard and April. About a week ago, April collapsed. Her back legs quit working. We've spent a week working with our vet, and we've found out she has some nerve and spine issues and some kind of doggie scoliosis. The vet is hoping we can treat some of this with medication, but we will require the use of a doggie wheelchair.

Our incredibly kind vet has loaned us a donated set of wheels, but, unfortunately, they're for a much larger dog, and she's having trouble maneuvering with the large harness and oversized wheels. We're going to have to get her a wheelchair made for her size, and they're not cheap.

Walkin' Wheels is a really solid company, and they're vet recommended. The price for their wheelchair is about $500. The rest of the money will be used for transaction fees and, if any is left over, materials for my dad and I to build a couple access ramps.

As many of you know, I very much believe in the power of crowdfunding. None of you owe me anything, but I'm hoping that, through the power of April's precious smile and the ever-growing Blake's Buzz audience, I can get some help in turning my dog into a racecar that runs on pure love.
