This is My Culture Sexual Freedom Party No.7

Thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate love, 20 years of section 28 and 40 years of club tropicana❤️ Dancing, talking, cheering, sharing, wrestling and just existing with so many beautiful people all in one space felt incredible, and we can’t wait for next year!

Please help the party organising collective raise £2000 to cover all equipment, travel, technicals and props that made ‘This is My Culture / Sexual Freedom Party No.7' so magical! :) We want to to keep afloat so we can continue it for free in 2024.

‘This is My Culture’ is a free party and protest to remember queer icon’s George Michael's life, talent and courage in celebrating sexual freedom and everyone everywhere creating queer utopia. The party is free to attend but costs money to run. Your donation will go towards covering the cost of the materials and equipment for the party, but more importantly, it will help us make the event more accessible for next time.

‘This is my culture party7’ on Saturday 10 June 2023, was beyond and above, a queer life-affirming, fantastic and beautiful, colourful, inclusive, sexy, hot, and pure fun, exceeding all and everyone's expectations! It was super busy too with lovely people everywhere, including my brilliant friends, who supported the event by dancing, cheering, oiling, counselling and cleaning. We have done it once more, keeping true to the DIY and grassroots ethos of having a good party, free for all, celebrating our lives, our heroes and sheroes, our culture, George Michael and beyond. I am proud of this event, to be part of it, behind the scenes and enjoying it too on its stage. It is put together with love, care and solidarity and a lot of free time, energy and hard work.
