Hi everyone! My name is Eve and I am currently a 4th year Intellectual Disability Student Nurse in Limerick. In mid October I will be travelling to Arusha in Tanzania to take part in a volunteering program with Siret Volunteers for 4 weeks. During this time I will be volunteering within the 'Early Years Program' for children with additional needs.

Any donations would be much appreciated and will go towards funding this trip and also to provide much needed resources for the children's centre. This is an amazing program and any donations, big or small will be greatly appreciated!

With poverty being a huge issue in these areas families have not been provided with basic human care. This program will ensure that the families in Arusha are being provided with essentials such as food, shelter, education, love and care.

This program allows me to volunteer in the local orphanage, the woman's shelter and to assist children with additional needs in the classroom. I hope to utilize and apply my nursing skills which I have learned during my nursing degree within these areas and hope it will be beneficial during my time taking part in this volunteer program.
