Hi there. My name is Svenia and I would like to introduce you to a very charming lady. Her name is Glenda. Together with my friend Marianne, I found out that Glenda is going through some tough times. Too humble and too shy to ask for any help. Almost 85 years old, she is working hard as she can at the Sherry Frontenac Hotel in Miami Beach as a receptionist for more than a decade. Wishing international crew members and clients a warm welcome, making them feel comfortable and smile as often as she can. Unfortunately, her salary does not allow her to live her life in a „normal“ way. Every single dollar count! With the inflation rising every day in the United States, Glenda is struggling financially.
