Please Help Save The Baby!

My wife and I have been asked to adopt a young man into our family. He is a 1yo precious boy from a very bad situation. His mother is a mentally unstable meth addict. He spent the 1st year of his life eating only pudding because that was all his drug addicted father would steal for him to eat. When he was brought to us he was covered in dirt, had over 12 ant bites on one foot alone. He was heavily sunburned, spider bites and dehydrated. I am sure I am missing something. Going into this we were completely surprised by the gravity of his neglect and health. He has already been to the pediatrician and is on medication for infection. He didn’t have shoes, a jacket, car seat, only the clothes on his back and 1 pair of pajamas. After a few days we finally received all the signed adoption paperwork. We didn’t realize we would only have 60 days to complete all aspects of this adoption, or he MUST be returned to the mother. Please help us help him escape that life. As you may imagine, adoption costs add up quickly! We are applying for adoption grants, and we’ve been able to earn enough to cover some of our expenses. However, there are still a few fees that are needing paid. We are hoping to raise between $4500-$5500 which should give us enough to cover the last of our costs. If you have a desire and the ability to help us, we would be so grateful! We also appreciate all the prayers we know are being delivered on our behalf.
