Hello everyoneI hope you all are well.
My name is Kulbir and all i am asking is your few minutes to read my story.
I came to Melbourne, Australia October last year. My husband hadn’t received his visa at that time and I was 8 months pregnant when i arrived in Australia. I was hoping to commence my studies in January 2023. On November 15th, I gave birth to a beautiful boy, Sahib. As i was by myself in Aus, my family and friends helped me a lot by giving me a place to stay and during my childbirth journey in Aus. By now I was desperately waiting for my husband to get Aus visa and come to live with me and our son. He was going to work to support us while I studied. But unfortunately things didn’t go as planned. On 16th January 2023, I received a call from India that my husband died in a car accident along with his cousin. I lost my first husband to Covid in 2020 and had just found new happiness with my husband ( younger brother of my first husband)and our son when this happened. My world fell into pieces. I am struggling badly to grieve over this loss. But I have to stay strong for my little boy.
So currently I am in a foreign country, with a 2 month old baby, with nil source of income.
So far my friends and family have helped me, but I can’t rely on them forever.
I want to complete my studies and work here in Aus so I can give better life to my child. So If anyone can please support me in this journey, I will forever be grateful. As an international student, I am not entitled to any government help. Therefore, I humbly request your help. Please donate if you can so I can continue my studies and look after my son. I will work very hard to give my son a good life without his dad and your donations will be of huge help. Even if you can’t help please share my story.
Forever grateful
Kulbir
