Hi my name is Darryl Gardner and plan to run 5km a day this December to raise money for Hospice U.K.

Hospice UK is the national charity for hospice care in the United Kingdom, supporting organisation that provide medical, emotional, and practical support to people with life-limiting conditions and their families

Anybody who knows my family and I, will know my mother Julie Gardner spent nearly six months in St Margarets Hospice in Taunton Somerset, before passing away nearly 9 years ago.

If it wasn’t for the care and support of the Hospice team, it would have taken our close family a lot longer to find peace with what my beautiful Mum had to battle with after being diagnosed with both a Brain Tumour and Lung Cancer and for that I’m forever in their debt.

If you can spare just a £1 or £2 to help get me to the target of £500 that would be much appreciated.
