Dream Of A Family

Hi my name is Tash and this is my husband Robert. We're coming to you today to ask for help in starting our family. The two of us have been trying for two years to get pregnant and we decided to start getting help from a fertility treatment center here in Orlando back in December. It may seem like two years isn't that long but when you are 38 and 41, you are racing against the clock. We started with the treatment cycle that our doctor thought was best, which was IUI, and we were super excited to begin this phase of our family planning. After lots of expensive tests and medications we finally got ready to begin but we had to postpone the procedure for a month due to an ovulation issue. This lead to having to redo a few of the expensive tests in preparation for the next month. When the month came we were super excited and hopeful. Everything seemed to be going great! We went through with the IUI and began our long wait for the results. But, a few days before we were due to take our test we were crushed to discover that I had my period and that means that implantation didn't take. That brings us to now. In order to do all these tests, take the medicines, and get the procedure done we had to dig into our savings for the summer. You see, I am a teacher and my husband is a freelance artist and I don't get paid for the summer so my husband and I save all year round to put money into the savings account to get through the summer. This year we decided to take money from the savings in order to pay for the procedure. With the procedure having failed, we were at a loss as to how to keep going and try again. Everything I've read says that our chances of success goes up with each attempt and our doctor only wants us to try three times. So we still have two more attempts but we can't afford to take more from our summer living money. So, we come to you. We hope you'll find it in your hearts to help us make our fondest wish come true and help us bring a baby into our family.
