Hi, as most of you have heard, the love of my mom's life, my step dad(my only real father figure) passed away 4/17/24. This was extremely sudden and not expected at all. My mom is not only morning his loss, but is now faced with financial hardships. They were not legally married, so all the bills which were once shared between them both, are falling all on her without any assistance. She is down sizing as much as possible, but her landlord will not let her out of her lease. She either has to continue to pay $1400 a month in rent or $3200 to get out of her lease and stay somewhere within her budget. As of right now, she makes only enough a month to cover her house bills and it will leave nothing for food and there is no way for her to come up with additional funds to pay rent somewhere else plus the $3200 to break her lease. I wouldn't normally ask, but I am lost what else we can do. We are trying to get her out of her lease and nothing more. Any funds raised will go to that. I appreciate anything you can give. God bless.
