I want to share something very important with you today. My family lives in Gaza and they are going through unimaginable difficulties. Life there is tough and basic needs like food and safety are often not guaranteed.

I have five people in my family: my mother, my father, and my three siblings. My father has chronic illnesses such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and he has a leg that he cannot stand on, so he is unable to help my family. Therefore, I am the only person outside Gaza who can get them out of the hell and suffering they are living in. My mother has high blood pressure and she is the only person who can take care of my younger siblings.

Imagine waking up every morning not knowing if you will have enough to eat. My family's situation is exactly like that. They live by the sea but looking at the water does not bring joy, it only reminds them of the uncertainties and the constant struggle for survival.

My heart aches when I think of how my loved ones have to struggle every day. Children who should be playing carefree worry about their next meal. Parents who are desperately trying to give their families a better life but keep having to fight against insurmountable obstacles.
