On 12th April 2026 I'm running the Tewkesbury Half Marathon to raise money for the Roses Theatre - a charity that does so much in Tewkesbury and north Gloucestershire, and I'm so proud to lead.

As well as putting on amazing shows including film, live music, theatre, comedy and dance, the Roses also develops young people's creativity with our youth theatre - the Roses Young Creatives; supports young people with disabilities and special needs from Milestone and Alderman Knight schools; provides culture for people with dementia through our dementia friendly film screenings and Memory Cafe drop-in service; plus our choirs including Sing for Health and Well-being that use the power of singing together to help reduce isolation, increase mood and support lung health.

Our ticket sales only provide 75% of the funds we need to do all this - we need to raise the remaining 25%.

So I'm going to be running 21.1km around Tewkesbury, as fast as I can, to raise awareness and hopefully some much needed funds. Please give generously!
