Carla Miles Carruthers… Gone before her time…

I am saddened to announce that on Saturday November 13th, 2021, Carla Miles Carruthers passed away leaving her husband Bruce and her 2 young twin boys, Christopher and Joseph age 5. Carla had recently had both hand and knee surgeries and was recovering at home when she suffered an embolism to her lungs.

Taken too soon from this earth, Carla was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and to me and many others a faithful friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and her passion for Mickey Mouse and funny hats.

When I met Carla she was a supervisor at Fantasyland Hotel. She then moved to Epcor as a service agent. In following years, Carla held an accounting positions at Ledcor among other oil and gas companies.

Carla’s wish in life was to become a mother and 5 years ago she and Bruce were blessed with two wonderful boys. Christopher and Joseph, currently in kindergarten in St. Albert have lost a loving mother who enjoyed cuddling with her boys and hearing about their adventures at their grandparent’s farm. She surely wished to someday take them to Disneyland to meet the characters she loved.

Please help me in raising funds to provide for Christopher and Joseph and to help Bruce navigate the challenges that will arise in the months and years ahead.
