Brentwood Sisters United

Sisters from the Brentwood area are getting together to fundraise for Brentwood Mosque.

 

With the help of donations and loans (qarz-e-hasana), the first masjid in the area was successfully acquired in December 2021.

 

Alhamdulillah now many families and people from the community are benefitting from the services of our masjid.

We are blessed to have a supportive community and volunteers who help run and keep the services running.

However, our journey isn't yet complete and more important work remains to be fulfilled. Our priority is to pay off the interest-free loans amounting to £700K.

Then In Shaa Allah, invest in more services and refurbishment of the building to make it more masjid and community-friendly.

 

Our United Sisters are coming together to fundraise by taking part in the O2 climb on a couple of dates in the summer, one at the end of July and another at the beginning of September.

Sisters Zubaira, Aysha Mercedes, Sidra, Faranaz, Karina and Rabia will start the ball rolling. This will hopefully be the first of many fundraising events.
