Matt’s family

This is hard. This hurts. Words cannot express our emotions. Matt, how you will be missed. The shocking sadness and irrevocable gap you have left in all our lives is overwhelming.

Matt was so very loved by all. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, friend, doctor and colleague.

His generosity touched the lives of many. He was caring of those around him and always took time to listen and support when needed. If only we had known the depth of his struggles.

He was a quiet achiever who always stood up for what he believed to be true. A very respected doctor who was not afraid to work hard and make the most of his time off with family. A brilliant mind yet extremely humble. He was our voice of reason, of fairness and humility.

It was such an honour to have him in our lives although that time was much too short.

This fundraiser is to help Celia and their three beautiful children Manny, Frankie and Pia start to navigate the path ahead. May this be one small way to demonstrate how he has touched our lives.
