5Church Atlanta Donates Meals to Midtown Public Service Workers and Neighbors
During these trying times, we have been looking for ways to help the Midtown Atlanta community. We wanted to thank the local army of public service workers who continue to persevere through work each day to maintain our safety.
Beginning Friday, April 3, 5Church Atlanta will donate cooked meals every Friday and Tuesday to public service workers and our neighbors in need. Our chef team will come together twice a week to prepare some of our signature 5Church dishes like our lamb burger. Deliveries will be made to local hospitals, fire stations and police stations around lunchtime, with pickup service offered outside in the front Loop Lounge (access from Peachtree Street) located at Colony Square for those working nearby from noon to 3 p.m.
We could not be more excited to get this started and to provide these hardworking individuals delicious homemade meals to enjoy twice a week. We are in this together, and we appreciate your support more than you'll ever know!
We humbly ask for donations to help purchase necessary products. One hundred percent of donations go toward the cost of production to create these meals. In an effort to keep minimal costs, we are working on receiving discounted products from vendors and requesting food and monetary donations as well. Volunteer employees from 5Church Atlanta will be cooking, packaging and distributing the meals while maintaining a healthy social distance throughout the process and upholding the highest standard of cleanliness.
