Medical Mission Trip in Costa Rica
Donation protected
Hi everyone! My name is Madelyn and I am a Junior at Baylor University! As a Health Science Studies major, I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve the underprivileged communities of Costa Rica. In this 10-day mission trip, I will work with in-country healthcare practitioners setting up field clinics in these vulnerable communities. In these field clinics, I will be conducting house visits, patient interviews, and medical screens. Throughout my time at Baylor, God has revealed to me the healthcare privileges we have in America, and I want to give back to a country that doesn’t have the same luxury. This invaluable experience will permit me to serve those with limited opportunities while offering hands-on experience that will undoubtedly enhance my skills as a doctor.
As a part of attending this trip, I am putting together financial support to reach my goal of $5000 by May 1st to pay for costs of tuition, fees, and flights. Any gift of any amount is greatly appreciated. I hope you will consider sponsoring me to make my mission trip to Costa Rica possible!
If you want more information, here is a short video with pictures of where we will be staying as well as the community visits and clinics we will set up while we’re there!
