Help us escape the genocide
Donation protected
I am akram hamed, a 30-year-old man from Beit Hanoun. Years ago, my life was turned upside down by the war that swept through my city, turning everything into ashes and ruins. The homes where I used to hear my children's laughter and my dreams were destroyed, and the streets of my city became a haven for ghosts and painful memories.
We were displaced countless times, from Beit Hanoun to Rafah, then to Deir al-Balah, wandering the earth in search of safety amidst the shadows of fear and destruction. We hoped that things would return to normal, but the truce we obtained was fragile and filled with fear. When we decided to return home, the shock was indescribable; our home was now a soulless ruin, a wreckage that told the story of a war that left us with nothing but pain.
It wasn't long before we were forced to flee again, as the sounds of bombing returned, terrifying us and scattering us in a new wave of displacement and deprivation. Now, amidst these harsh conditions, where famine is stalking us and the cold is piercing our bodies, I find myself alone, homeless, and with no hope but in you.
You are the light in our darkness, the hope we cling to to persevere and continue. Your support is not just a donation; it is the life we need to rebuild, to dream of a dignified life, and to create a better tomorrow for our children. Please help us. Be our hope on this difficult journey that we cannot cross alone.
