Lorenzo is a vibrant, fun 7 year-old in 1st grade at Near West Intergenerational School. In the middle of the night on 9/4, a truck crashed into his family’s apartment and he was pinned under the truck, suffering burns and injuries. Lorenzo will be OK, but will be in the hospital for a while. His family’s expenses will include bills, setting up a new home, and his mother Luz will need to take time off work to oversee his recovery. We want to support Lorenzo, Luz, and his older siblings Imani and Jose as they recover from this awful event.
