Since my home was destroyed, my life and the lives of my young children have been full of tragedies and challenges. We suffer from the harsh winter cold that creeps into my children’s weak bodies, the hunger that knocks on our doors mercilessly, and the disease that has exhausted them due to our lack of the simplest means of a decent life. My children look at me with eyes full of hope, but my hands are empty, and my inability to provide them with a warm shelter is slowly killing me. My need to rebuild my house has become an urgent necessity, not only to provide a roof to protect us from the cruelty of nature, but also to restore our dignity and our right to a safe and stable life. I ask everyone who can lend a helping hand to help me overcome this harsh ordea.
