Join Their Journey: Protect This Family

Now seems to be the right time to begin pooling our support for Holly‘s legal fees.

Most of you know, at the end of last year Holly and her kids returned to the US.

On May 3, Holly was served papers for a case opened by Christian against her, with charges of international kidnapping.

In the past months, knowing this could come, she spoke to a specialized law firm. They explained that these cases are handled in federal court and must be wrapped up within 6 weeks. It becomes very expensive because a whole team specializing in these international kidnapping cases ends up putting all their time into one case in order to make this happen.

The firm said the retainer for this case would be $25,000 and work on the case would not be started until the retainer was paid in full.

Well, this same, renown firm is representing Holly, God supplied the first $25,000 from a generous donor, and we have roughly 4 weeks left!

Now…the retainer has to be topped back up to $25,000 at least every 2 weeks and the total cost of these sorts of international kidnapping cases usually hovers around $100,000.

So our goal is to raise the second $25,000.

We don’t know the outcome, but we know His will, will be done.

We will update this fundraiser over the next 5 weeks with the particular legal fees as they become known.

Any funds not needed will be used in one of two ways; either for subsequent legal fees or for housing for Holly and the kids.
