During Covid, Joyce has been homeless and has been struggling to make ends meet.
She has been sofa surfing across the country whilst being a victim of sexual assault all without the security of a job have been a few things she has had to contend with in the last 7 months.
Having lived in the UK for over 15 years, Joyce has gone through lengths to become a qualified accountant and yet she’s unable to legalise her stay, which has resulted in challenges when it comes to gainful employment. The current situation coupled with the uncertainty of immigration laws following Brexit has left her in a state of limbo.
Nevertheless, Joyce continues to search for a job in these trying times.
In the interim, we are appealing for a kind donation to cover daily essentials and cost of living, including food, rent, and immigration fees.
Please know that every bit counts and for anything you can offer on behalf of Joyce we are so grateful.
There are many more like Joyce who do not have recourse to public funds. As a result, 10% of your generous donation will be given to a homeless charity to help others in the same predicament.

I have known Joyce for a while and consider her to be an outstanding citizen & humanitarian at heart, who even when herself is in need would go out her way to help others.She has taken part in many charity events raising money for those in need and has volunteered on many occasions in distributing essentials towards the less fortunate. Now unfortunately she herself has fallen on difficult times and is caught in the same situation of those she once helped! In these times of uncertainty as regards to the Covid19 and the current economic climate we are faced with, she is but one of many who are fallen in a trap, faced in this situation of no shelter, no food & no assistance from others. Living day to day not knowing whether they will survive! Just think for one moment, any one of us could be caught in this terrible circumstance given the current times we are in, with no work and no means of funding for a roof over our head. Once again I urge you all to donate towards this. I know for one she will deeply appreciate your support and maybe one day she will get back on her feet.
