Hello everyone,

It's Christina & Chami from 1 WorldYoga in Ella, Sri Lanka. Together we have created the 5 Elements Foundation. Our mission is in supporting the less fortunate in nearby communities who were deeply affected by the recent floods and devastating landslides from Cyclone Ditwah. At the present time this is our greatest focus, however our arms extend to reach further than this in helping to meet basic needs of food and housing to any family that has been negatively effected by natural disasters.

In the most recent, Cyclone Ditwah, many homes were heavily damaged, or lost completely. Families are struggling with basic needs like food, clothing, sanitary products and safe shelter. Children are unable to go to school because of damaged school houses and lost supplies.

Even with our limited resources, we started doing small acts of help on our own:

✔️ Donating school stationery and supplies to children

✔️ Providing essential items to affected families

✔️ Supporting repairs to broken houses whenever we can

But the need is far greater than what we can handle alone.

Many families are still living in unsafe or damaged homes.

Some children are unable to return to school because they lost their books and uniforms.

And many households are struggling to afford basic meals because their livelihoods were disrupted by the floods.
