Vogue Scotland are raising funds to help towards our sister Loretta a.k.a Purina Alphas transition. 

She has sent us a couple words she would like to share;

"After 5 years of self-medication, during quarantine I decided that I needed to get myself monitored properly, to do my transition above-board for my own safety and for the people that care about me.

Due to the way I was treated in London by the NHS gender services, I developed a fear of doctors and didn’t see a doctor for any reason from autumn 2015 until a few months ago.  I have been on the waiting list for Sandyford Gender Services since May 2018 and still haven’t heard anything, the NHS is underfunded and every time I’ve called for an update the wait times keep getting longer.

I’ve had my first appointment with the private clinic in Edinburgh and they outlined my costs for the next few months and it is beyond what I can do on my own. You all know I’m not the kind of person who finds asking for help easy, but if you can give a little bit to help I’d really appreciate it."

***Loretta would also like to be fully transparent & say that a third of the funds will go towards her facial feminisation surgery consultation.
