My family and I have been going through one of the hardest financial seasons of our lives this past year. When my youngest son was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, everything changed overnight. His health became my full focus, and in the midst of caring for him, I ended up losing my job. From there, everything seemed to spiral downward faster than we could catch it.

We’ve hustled, sacrificed, and kept grinding just to stay afloat, yet we’ve still fallen behind on rent, utilities, and even basic necessities like food. With this shutdown, things have only gotten harder, and we’re at a point where we simply can’t do this alone.
