Help Ahmed and his family in Gaza
Donation protected
He is Ahmed, 19 years old, and his life was once filled with safety and comfort. After school, he worked hard to support his family, caring for his four younger brothers and his sick mother, who suffers from sarcoma in her glands. He was dedicated to his studies, determined to graduate with excellent grades.
But everything changed on October 7.
On that day, his home was targeted, and half of it was destroyed. This attack forced him and his family to flee to Khan Younis, where they initially sought shelter in a school. His mother’s health worsened due to the lack of treatment, and eventually, she was transferred to the West Bank to receive chemotherapy. Since his father has been out of the country since 2018, Ahmed and his brothers were left alone to face these struggles.
Later, they moved to Mawasi in Khan Younis, where they lived in a cloth tent that was hardly suitable as a home. They couldn’t afford plastic sheeting for protection, so they battled the cold, rain, and the constant fear of flooding. Eventually, they had no choice but to return to the dangerous eastern area of Khan Younis, trying to survive among the ruins of their former home.
Now, Ahmed carries the heavy burden of ensuring his mother receives the treatment she needs while providing his brothers with food, medicine, and clean water. He is also trying to continue his studies online, though he often wonders if he will succeed in any of these efforts. Despite these overwhelming challenges, he knows he has no other choice—he must succeed for his family.
He is grateful for every help and donation.
„Hello, I am Ahmed, a 19-year-old young man. I was living happily, working hard to graduate from school and join university to study information security. But everything changed quickly after October 7th. My mother was forced to go to hospitals in the West Bank to receive chemotherapy, and I became responsible for my younger siblings. Now, I have to provide them with clean food, water, warmth, clothes, and medicine. These are big responsibilities for someone my age. I need your help to meet some of these needs, find safety, and reunite with my mother. ❤️“
