Semere is a blind, Eritrean refugee that my sister and her friend happen to run into today, and they decided to give him a ride home and take him out to eat... She took these pics for me, and it broke my heart. Nobody should be living under these conditions in the middle of Atlanta...
He is asking for a bed, but that doesn't help cause he already has bed bugs. Obviously, we need to get him out ASAP. My goal is to find him an apartment and fully furnish it, possibly next to a grocery store. I also want to assist him in receiving his green card.
I am asking for help while I do further research and contact some agencies.
