Daniel's Family Needs Your Support

Hello! My name is Daniel. I am a family man who has run into some career roadblocks. I worked with a company for over a year now with whom I had to part ways. As of December 2024, they have had little to no hours to offer me. I was an hourly paid employee, meaning that with no hours, there is no pay. I parted ways in the middle of March 2025, thinking that I could/would be back on someone's payroll who does have hours to offer. Unfortunately, since this decision has been made, my employer still has not had any hours to offer, and I have been unable to secure another source of income. I have had many job interviews; however, nobody has put any offers out on the table yet. As the beginning of May approaches, I have no assets or finances to keep our overhead. I have both a wife and two daughters living at home, two having disabilities. My wife's fixed income doesn't support much. My oldest daughter has her disability setbacks, making it hard for her to secure work, and my youngest is still a minor who will be graduating high school this year. I am the only one in our family who has the opportunity to be the breadwinner in our home.

For not having had any job offers put out there, I am unable to provide for my family as I continue lining up interviews for work. We are again facing losing our home as a result. I do not expect this situation to last long, but I badly need to keep a roof over our heads. I do as much as I can for others when they are in need of help. However, this time, I am the one in need of help. We need to come up with $2300 to secure our rent and cover our currently due utilities. Without either, I will not be able to secure any income, nor will I be able to provide for my family.

Please, every little bit helps. If you can find it in your heart to help a family keep alive and get back on their feet, we will be very grateful. It's not in my nature to beg or ask for help. I normally am able to keep our finances under control. Without any source of income while transitioning between jobs, we are going to fail. I have exhausted all resources trying to get a loan (from family, friends, and online loans) without success. Local charities and/or state services will not assist due to how recently we have lost income and do not qualify for such help. It's like I have to become homeless to get assistance, which is the very thing I am trying to avoid.
