Closed-Sunset Park Families Need Help Due To Fire

Today, we witness a fire consume a 3 family-home. It's too soon to say whether there's any injuries (as the fire only occurred 2 hours ago), but one thing's for certain, 3 families are now without a home. They're beautiful people, with lovely kids, that now need our community to rally for them. NYC STRONG!! $15,000 will not replace their home (and priceless items), but I'm hoping that the generosity would exceed our expectations. I understand this amount is a lot to ask for, nevertheless, we're compassionate human beings, and can empathize when people are down. I personally would hear the affected families' kids play during the summer months and it breaks my heart knowing that something may have happened to them. If you could be so kind and donate WHATEVER you can. Funds will go directly to the families and pay for temporary housing, clothes, food, medical bills, and other misc. expenses.

The fire impacted all floors (3). All personal items were consumed by the flames or damaged during extinguishing of it. The home is no longer in a livable condition. The roof has been opened for ventilation (assumed), and thus, exposed to climate. No word on the number of injuries.

This is an official fund raising event that has been approved by the family. We're in the process of adding more oversight to assure proper allocation of funds such as multiple team members. In addition, we plan on providing all donors authentication (within the allowed parameters of GoFundMe) that funds were distributed to the affected parties.
