Please help us to recover from tragedy

As you can read in my interview with The Sunday Times my husband, the MP Andrew Bridgen, left me and our young son homeless just in time for Christmas. My sister came to my rescue and put down a year’s rent on a flat as a loan so we could remain living in Britain.

I am crowdfunding for lawyers and living expenses, so I can get off emergency benefits, rebuild our lives and my career in order to keep myself and son in Britain.

My little boy was born in this country. He goes to school in this country. He only speaks English. I need to help him stay in the only country he knows and close to everyone and everything he loves.

I may have been born in Serbia, but I have come to love this great country, its values and opportunities. It is one of the best places in the world to raise a family and I don’t ever want my son to be forced to give up on the place we both call home.

Please help us to recover from this heartbreaking tragedy so that we can start a new chapter in our lives.

Soon I will be able to stand on my own two feet, but for now please help me to recover all that I have lost so that I can continue to try to give my beautiful son the best possible future and start in life.
