500 Miles. 500 Items. Every Dollar Counts!
Donation protected
Hi! I’m Sam… Sam I am!
This May and June, I’m walking the 500-mile Camino de Santiago across Portugal and Spain — a personal journey with a powerful purpose.
I’m raising money to support the Palatine Food Pantry, which serves over 550 families each month. As a volunteer, I see firsthand how hard it is right now for so many people to access basic essentials.
My goal: collect or fund 500 non-perishable and personal care items — one for every mile I walk.
If you can spare $1, $5, $10, or $20, it truly makes a difference.
Every dollar will go directly toward purchasing high-need items like diapers, baby wipes, shampoo, toothpaste, and food staples like canned vegetables, cereal, and pasta.
No donation is too small — it all adds up.
Local to Palatine? You can also drop off items at the Buehler YMCA or message me for pickup.
️ Please give by June 15 so we can make a big community drop-off when I return!

Thank you for helping turn every mile into a moment of impact!
