50 Years Later: A Gift for Vietnam Vets

I am the founder of a newly formed faith based nonprofit (Pay N 4 Ward) that focuses on fundraising to support veterans of all eras. In the past we supported captains in the Florida Keys by providing floating chairs so that paralyzed veterans could enjoy the waters of the Keys. Additionally we have supported community Food Distributions , Save Life Community Development to purchase food and other items for the local community. Our current initiative is to raise funding for the travel of 4 Vietnam Veterans to enjoy a fishing trip to Costa Rica, to catch the famous Rooster Fish. This year, 2025 is the 50th year of the end of the Vietnam War. As you know this was an unpopular conflict and the veterans NEVER received a good WELCOME HOME or any positive acknowledgement of their service. This could be a once in a lifetime experience for a few of these aging veterans. Being a nonprofit we can provide tax receipts for your donations. We would like to schedule this trtp between the National POW/MIA Recognition Day and Veterans Day, the earlier the better as we are not getting any younger.
