As a Chairperson for the 50th National Commemoration of the Vietnam War and to honor those that served I am proud to announce that I have personally presented Vietnam Veteran commemorative lapel pins to 2000 veterans. The 50 year is rapidly coming to an end and my goal is to host 6 Vietnam Veterans on an all expense paid retreat to Costa Rica for fellowship, fishing and fun. According to statistical data from the Veterans Administration, we lose more than 500 Vietnam Veterans every day; many of those still residing in hospices and long-term care facilities. With that staggering statistic in mind we have very little time to waste in making this trip a reality and showing these veterans we came.
