50 years, 1 Dream: Per discovers Brazil

Dear friends,

As many of you know, Per is someone who deeply loves both his work and travel. However, while he travels often, all of his trips are work-related, and it's been years since he’s had the chance to embark on a journey purely for relaxation, enjoyment, or to indulge in his passion for photography. You might have noticed that his Instagram has been quiet for years now because he hasn’t had the opportunity to travel for photography.

For his 50th birthday, I’d love for us to come together and gift him something truly special—a trip to a country he’s always dreamed of visiting but, surprisingly, has never been to Brazil!!

Brazil’s rich culture, stunning landscapes, and vibrant art and photography scenes have long fascinated him, and I believe this could be the perfect gift. ( I have been there and I am sure he will love it )

The idea is to pool our resources to create a budget that will allow him to explore Brazil for leisure, free from work obligations. The plan is for him to travel sometime between January and March, so we have until October to contribute to secure good travel deals. I’m hoping to raise enough to send him to discover places like Rio de Janeiro and Salvador de Bahia.

I know many of you may not know me personally, but what we share is a connection with Per, and I hope you’ll understand the intention behind this initiative. The goal is to surprise him on his 50th birthday with the news that he’ll soon be exploring Brazil’s favelas, mountains, Amazon rainforest, and culture.

Your contributions are greatly appreciated, no matter the amount. There’s no minimum or maximum—everyone can give what they feel comfortable with, and contributions are entirely anonymous. I’ll have a list of those who participated so that he’ll know whom to thank when he receives his ticket.

Plus, the more, the better! If you know others who might want to contribute but whom I haven't reached out to, please feel free to share this information with them. And, of course, keep this a secret—it’s a surprise!

As an example: This Hotel below is one of the Best in terms of location and Vibe! From Rio, he can easily do his back and forth to Salvador de Bahia!
