50 orphans and abandoned children in Uganda Praying for HELP

Hello everyone,

My name is Yvette Jones-Swanson, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea. In Uganda, a young man named Waiswa Moses Elijah is shouldering an incredible burden—caring for 50 orphans and abandoned children aged 4 to 12. The COVID-19 pandemic, malaria and typhoid

have devastated families, leaving countless children without parents, homes, or even basic necessities like food and clothing. Waiswa and friends have established an organization in Uganda called FRIENDS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION AND CARE HOME.

I have created this GoFundMe campaign to support Waiswa in his noble mission to provide these children with a safe and nurturing environment. Can you imagine being a young person yourself, responsible for the well-being of 50 little ones in your small home? It's a daunting task, but Waiswa has taken it on with unwavering determination and compassion.

These children urgently need our help. They deserve to attend school regularly, have nutritious meals every day, sleep in comfortable beds with warm bedding, and have access to basic healthcare. They need clothes, shoes, toys, and all the essentials that most of us take for granted.

I have partnered with Waiswa to create a publication that will share the inspiring story of this extraordinary family. For every donation of $100 or more, along with your mailing information, you will receive a FREE copy of this book once it's published in May 2024. The book will also be available for sale on Amazon (RAISING HOPE - Uganda), with all proceeds going towards supporting these children.

Having experienced homelessness myself several times due to domestic violence, I understand the critical importance of having a safe place to call home. I am a humanitarian at heart, and I believe that every child deserves a loving and secure environment to thrive in. Children are truly gifts from God, and it breaks my heart to see any child suffer needlessly.
