For those who may not be aware, running has taken on a significant role in my life in recent years. It’s always been a personal journey for me — pushing my limits and discovering where my legs can take me. And with a couple marathons under my belt, l've decided (for better or for worse) to take on a major milestone plunge and run the highly regarded 50mile JFK Ultramarathon in November! I'm super stoked for this challenge, which will include a large portion run along the Appalachian trail (!)

But as I continue this individual journey, I want to use this opportunity to raise awareness and fundraise for a cause greater than myself. That's why I'm running to support Advanced Wealth Education, Corp.

6 months ago, I joined the board of Advanced Wealth Education — an outstanding non-profit organization in Charlotte, NC. The non-profit is focused on tackling income & opportunity inequality in underserved communities by providing financial education to young adults and direct community investment by developing affordable housing across the state. So, I'm asking for your help to raise $2500 (or $50 per mile!!) by November 22nd, 2024. Your donations will provide crucial financial support for Advanced Wealth Education to continue its growth and betterment of our Charlotte community. If you're curious as to where your dollar might go:

1. To provide a 1-year training program for one of our students costs $3,500.

2. We need $14,000 to close on 2 lots which will allow us to move forward with the development of 2 affordable housing projects in Greensboro, NC.
