50 mile Charity Run for the Ryedale Paths For Everyone

Donation protected
On Monday 7th & Tuesday 8th April 2025, Ian Conlan, the Mayor of Malton Town Council, is set to embark on an ambitious 50 mile charity run in aid of Paths 4 Everyone (P4E), Ryedale Environment Group. He also has a personal ambition to attempt to double it to 100!!!!!

“This endeavour to run between 50 and 100 miles is a culmination of over five years of preparation. 50 miles is the distance of the entire route around the P4E Market Town Circular, which I will attempt to do twice over the 2 days. I am also thrilled to announce that the Malton Town Councillors have voted to support the P4E initiative with a grant dedicated to constructing a new section around Broughton Woods, which has recently been completed. My goal is to raise over £1,000 for an ongoing Maintenance Fund, ensuring that these paths remain accessible for the long term.”

All funds raised will held by Ryedale Environment Group. Registered Charity Number 1202762

The Route and Timing:
Ian’s run will start at 4.30am on Monday 7th April at Norton Primary School, Grove Street
