Hi everyone!
We (Freya & Hugo) are swapping sun loungers for saddles and tackling the Wolverhampton to Aberdovey bike ride — that’s 104 miles on two wheels, powered by sheer determination, snacks, and questionable life choices.
Both the Midlands and Aberdovey mean a lot to us both— amazing family and friends in the Midlands, and 14 unforgettable summers spent in Aberdovey (we’ve basically earned local status at this point). So what better excuse to combine our love of both places than by cycling between them?
We’re pedalling for five brilliant charities:
- Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity
- Aberdyfi Search & Rescue (just in case we don’t make it?)
- Tough Enough to Care
- Little Paws Cat Haven (because, cats.)
- Friends at the Heart of RJAH
We’ve been training hard — spending weekends in the Midlands clocking up miles and discovering just how many hills there really are.
