5 Boro Bike Tour for LiveOnNY - Heart Transplant!

My name is Ken Abbott and I received a heart transplant at Mount Sinai hospital in December 2016. That heart was procured by the outstanding professionals at LiveOnNY. I owe my life to my donor and donor family, the dedicated team at LiveOnNY, and all the doctors and medical staff who kept me alive. It has been 7 fantastic years and I am still going strong. Since my transplant I have biked over 50,000 miles. Can't think of a better way to support LiveOnNY than to ride my bike through NYC and increase awareness about organ donation and transplantation. I have volunteered with LiveOnNY since 2017 but this is my first time participating in this event. The ride will be on May 5, 2024.
