Last night, my 77-year-old father lost the home he had built his life in, and everything in it.
A devastating house fire in Angus took the home of my Dad, Don Arlow and my brother, Joe Arlow. In a matter of moments, everything they owned, along with a lifetime of memories, was gone.
We are incredibly grateful that they made it out safely. That is what matters most. But now they are facing the unimaginable reality of starting over from nothing.
For over 50 years, my dad served the Angus community through Sue-Don Heating. Whether it was restoring heat in the dead of winter or helping someone in a tough spot, he and Joe have always been there for others. They are the kind of people you can count on, day or night.
Now, they need our help.
At 77 years old, my dad should not have to rebuild his life from scratch. We are raising funds to help cover immediate needs like clothing, food, and temporary housing, and to support them as they begin the long road ahead.
Any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page, means more than words can express.
Thank you for standing with Don and Joe during this incredibly difficult time. It truly means everything to our family.
