Hello! I am starting this GoFundMe to help my dad get back on his feet.

My father was picked up by ICE in Las Vegas, Nevada. They surrounded his apartment with over 20 ICE officers with rifles pointed at him and he was forced to surrender himself. They did not want to show me the warrant they said they had.

He has to start his life all over again in his hometown of Hermosillo, Sonora. Our family has been broken apart; this is truly a nightmare for our entire family. My father has been in the US since he was a child. He leaves behind his kids, and most importantly, his grandkids.

Anything helps as we try to get my dad situated in Mexico (getting him somewhere to live and rebuying all his medications that he left behind here). He wasn’t able to take any of his medications with him or continue with his medical care he was getting. He was only able to take a small bag with him, and ICE stole the money my sister added into his bag. We pray for all families facing deportation
