In Vitro Fertilization Fund

        Those of you who know Jackson and I also know a dream of ours has always been to become parents. After setting our careers in line, buying a home, buying cars we had decided to start trying for a baby. This was three years ago. This last June we were referred to a fertility specialist to try to narrow down what the problem was. We found out that Jackson has a type of cystic fibrosis which does not allow for the growth of a vas deferens. Needless to say without this internal organ there is no way for the sperm to leave the body other than through reproductive help.

       This has by far been the hardest thing either of us has ever gone through. It is physically and emotionally draining , but is our only hope to ever having our own children.

       Jackson and I went through our first round of in vitro this last year and unfortunately did not get any viable embryos in the process. We want to try again in order to pursue our dreams of someday becoming parents. This unfortunately comes with a very large price tag. First round cost us a little over $25,000. We are expecting this next round to cost even a little more than that based on the doctors preferred adjusted dosages to the meds. If possible anything will help but we are hoping to reach an amount of $50,000 which will help us pay off the last round in addition to the next round we would like to start.
