Fighting Hunger, Feeding Freedom

Across South Los Angeles, thousands of families are facing impossible daily decisions — choosing between groceries or rent, diapers or medicine. These aren’t just financial hardships. They are quiet crises that strip away freedom, dignity, and peace of mind.

But here’s the truth we hold close: when one family rises, we all rise.

That’s why a group of 33 friends here in LA have come together to launch Fighting Hunger, Feeding Freedom — a community-led effort grounded in care, creativity, and action. In partnership with All Peoples Community Center, we’re raising money to provide families directly with Freedom Support Cards, each valued at $150. These unrestricted cards empower families to choose what they need most — groceries, school supplies, medicine, baby essentials — whatever supports their freedom.

All Peoples Community Center, a trusted institution in South LA for over 80 years, carefully vets every participant in their programs. Families are enrolled through a comprehensive intake process that ensures the support goes directly to those facing the most acute need — with dignity, not red tape. These are parents doing everything they can. These are elders carrying generations. These are youth striving for a future.

When you give, you’re not just offering financial support. You’re sending a message:
