My name is Jay Merrilees and in this last year we have lost two good mates, Spike and Knighty to battles with Cancer.

It has been a hard time for their families and I know this is a hard time for so many more families across the world.

I wanted to help in some small way so have set this fund raiser up to generate funds for Cancer Research UK. 

I will be taking part in the Goggins 4 x 4 x 48 Challenge.

In this challenge I will be running 4miles, every 4 hours for 48 hours. Which is 13-14 4 mile runs over two days with very little sleep.

It will be tough, but no where near as tough as it for those family members who have their loved ones go through this battle. 

I will be running in Australia (which is now where so live) and tackling different terrains along the way such as bush land, beach running, trail, flats and tracks.
