4x4x48 Challenge for San Antonio Food Bank
Donation protected
Last year my son Loghan raised $10,000 to help the San Antonio Food Bank. We delivered 100% of the proceeds raised to the SAFB which resulted in over 70,000 meals for San Antonio families. While there, Loghan learned about the harsh realities of hunger and starvation for many San Antonio families and the role SAFB plays to help their plight. The food shortage in our community has especially inspired my son Loghan (11 years old) to help make a difference again this year. To make a difference and help our community, Loghan wanted to do another fundraiser to help the San Antonio Food Bank. We again hope to raise $10,000 for the SAFB!!!
Together, starting on March 4th, Loghan and I will again be doing the 4x4x48 Challenge. It is a physical challenge started by David Goggins, where Loghan and I will be undertaking where we bike 4 miles, every 4 hours for 48 hours straight. Here is a link to the actual challenge https://www.gogginschallenge.com . To be clear, we will be biking, not running, for the challenge. Loghan has asked friends, family, classmates, neighbors and our community to donate for each mile he bikes over those 48 hours. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $10,000 which would be $209/mile. I also pledge to match a minimum of $1000 (with the final amount to be a percentage of the total collected so the more we collect for donation the more I donate personally!!!). What we are asking is for you to donate per mile:
$0.50 / mile = $24
$1.00 / mile = $48
$2.00 / mile = $96
and so on...any amount you can donate will be appreciated and donated!!
100% of all proceeds raised would go directly to the San Antonio Food Bank. I hope you will take a minute to think about how fortunate we are for all that we have. Then take a minute and think about those who have so little. Please donate to Loghan's 4x4x48 Challenge Fund Raiser.
Thank you so much for your time and commitment to helping others.
