Hi my name is Mykal, we are trying to raise funds for Michelle to aid us in purchasing the things Michelle needs in her final stages of cancer. Many things I assumed would be provided as part of her care actually are not, even something as simple as a wheelchair we where told to visit a charity shop by her McMillan nurse.

Michelle has been battling cancer for around 20 years, it began as breast cancer which after surgery she seemed to battle off and was clear of cancer for around 15 years, then roughly 3 years ago she was hit by a hit and run driver which smashed one of her legs requiring surgery to rebuild her leg, this bone trauma also retriggered dormant cancer cells and Michelle began a second battle with cancer now in her inner organs and bones, all seemed well and treatments appeared to be working and the cancer shrinking

until approximately 3 weeks ago, Michelle collapsed after having complained of headaches for over 10 days

Cancer struck again now multiple tumours in her brain and surgery not an option, leaving her with erratic speech and very little mobility the cancer being in the parts of the brain that control motor functions of her muscles.

Currently she is house bound and being forced to sleep on a 2 seater sofa as she can not climb the stairs to bed,

we desperately need help to raise money for the things she needs to enable her to have at least some quality of life in her months (hopefully longer).

Michelle is well known in the circles of dog rescue and has assisted in countless dogs being rehomed rather than put to sleep,

She has given her time and skills over and over again to many many rescues and rescuers,

Now Michelle also needs some help, please find it your hearts to donate to this wonderful lady, no matter how small the amount.
