Hello, my name is Brenda Mahoney. I am a single mother and have a sweet fur baby named Zeus. Zeus is a 5-year-old pit bull. He was a rescue. I paid a man 80 dollars to save him. The man had him tied up outside with no food, no water, and no shade in 100-degree weather. So, I got Zeus when he was 4 months old. Zeus has always been healthy and very happy. He is definitely spoiled rotten. My children and I love him with our whole hearts!

About a month ago, he stopped eating his food. I thought maybe he was just being a picky eater. Well, over the past month, Zeus would only eat boiled chicken and rice, hamburger, or other human foods. About 3 days ago, he started vomiting, acting like he's having trouble standing or walking, and coughing, along with still not eating. On top of all of that, now all he will do is lay down all day long and has trouble getting up to go to the bathroom or even drink water. We love Zeus so much, he is such a good boy and we're so afraid that if we don't get the funds to get the appropriate care as soon as possible, he will not make it much longer. He goes tomorrow for heartworm testing and we go from there. His vet bills are so expensive and being a single mother who works full time, I cannot afford his vet bills. My children and I are all a complete mess! Zeus is our family and we couldn't bear to lose him. We are asking that if you could find it in your heart to donate, it could save his life!
