**update**
Surgery done, the post op is painful but I'm on bed rest with meds. Got a two week post op check up and it went well. Turns out the plate put in is 11 inches. Got a cast out on again so this is now my third cast. Another check up with specialist in two weeks
**UPDATE** 12/2/25
Surgery on the 8th so next Monday. Got a few months of recovery ahead of me. Good vibes are appreciated
*UPDATE* 11/22/25
So went to get checked up and after seeing more x-rays, the Dr concluded I fractured my tibia, apparently a weird bone to fracture with an ankle fracture usually it's the other bone. So surgery is probably an option to put plates in to stabilize my foot. I'll update after I see an orthopedic doctor.
11/12/25. Hi everyone, my name is Sara. Last October, I injured my lower back and tore a muscle, and then on Halloween, I fractured my ankle. Since then, I’ve been unable to work while going through physical therapy and recovery.
I’m only asking for assistance to help cover essential bills like my phone and health insurance, as well as transportation to physical therapy and doctor’s appointments and specialist appointments since I can't drive or take public transportation right now, and the cost of my medication. Also possibly a knee scooter so when I can put weight on my foot I can go back to work hopefully using the one scooter.
Recovery has been slow and honestly very frustrating, but all I want is to get back to work and back to a "normal" life again.
If you’re in a position to help, your donation, no matter how small, would mean so much. If you’re not able to give, sharing this page would also be a huge help.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer while I work toward getting back on my feet, literally.
